HISTORY
In the mid 1940's a group of godly men and women set out on the battlefield for the Lord and together they founded Johnson Grove Holiness Church, known today as Johnson Grove New Birth Of Deliverance. For more than 75 years, Pastor Zera Hampton, Pastor Annie Covington and Bishop Daniel Covington, led God's people by preaching the way of righteousness to advance His Kingdom. They were steadfast in their godly conviction that the only way to make it inside of Heaven's gates, is to live a life of holiness. Under the current leadership of Pastor Danta Covington, we give thanks for the roots of our past, celebrate our present and look forward to the vision ahead.

BELIEFS AND VALUES
We are a small family church rooted in traditional principles with an understanding of the world today. We believe in the Holy Trinity; God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and His power to save. We believe the Holy Bible and that God's Word is true by itself.

Our core values are to REACH out to a lost and dying world to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. To SERVE others compassionately and to BUILD the Kingdom of God by building the capacity of people for life and ministry.
VISION
Our vision is to share God's message of hope to the world that Jesus Christ is The Way, beginning with the declaration and promise as found in John 3:16 which says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
